The objectives of the SAE
The SAE has a main objective to allow the discovery and implementation of a first computer network functional.

More specifically, the CAS aims to :
An understanding of the diversity of network equipment (routers, switches, workstations).
Put into practice the technical knowledge related to the network configuration.
Hasnsuring a stable and consistent over an IP network.

Professional tool used
Cisco Packet Tracer
First part :
IP routing
This first phase was devoted to the implementation of the static routing using routers. We have configured multiple IP networks interconnected to allow communication between different sub-networks.
1
The IP address of the equipment.
II
The configuration of the network interfaces.
III
The implementation of static routes to ensure the flow of packets.

Second part :
VLANs
The second part focused on the configuration of virtual local area networks (VLANs).
We have worked on :
1
The configuration of the switches.
II
La segmentation logic of the network using VLANs.
III
The implementation of the routing inter-VLAN via routers

Self-reflection on the work

Discovery of concrete
This SAE m’helped persuade the operation of computer networks. L’use of Packet Tracer has made the concepts more clear and easier to understand.

Rigor and understanding
The routing configurations and VLANs have asked of rigour, but they m’have helped to better understand the real issues d’a network.

Work under stress
The assessments are timed m’have also learned how to work more efficiently under stress.

A solid foundation
In l’ensemble, this CAS has been a trainer and m’has given a solid foundation for the rest of my training.
