The objectives of the SAE
The SAE has the main objective to design and deploy a computer network full for a small structure, by configuring several services on machines within d’a virtualized environment.

More specifically, the CAS aims to :
Put in place an infrastructure multi-networks
Deploy and configure network services essential
Supervise the servers to l’aide d’monitoring tools modern
Sessions project
3
Professional tool used
OpenStack – Apache – NextCloud – Grafana – MobaXterm
First part :
IP routing
This first phase was devoted to the creation of l’infrastructure in OpenStack and the implementation of the routing between the different networks.
1
Deployment of 4 instances (2 Windows 11 on NET0, 2 servers Rocky 9 CLI on different network
II
Creation of networks and routers, with plan d’address full.
III
Configuration of static routing and elaboration of the schema network final draw.io, including the routing tables.

Second part :
VLANs
The second part focused on the progressive deployment of the services on Linux servers.
We have worked on :
1
DNS (dnsmasq) : resolution of the internal names of all the instances, with referral to the DNS of l’UGA for external names.
II
Web (Apache) : testing site, the two sites of personal (CV Web of each member of the pair), and a site Nextcloud with user rights management.
III
Supervision (Prometheus + Node Export + Grafana) : dashboards displaying the resources of the two Linux servers.

Self-reflection on the work

Global Vision d’infrastructure
This LES m’has allowed us to understand how s’articulates a network infrastructure that is real, since the map d’addressing up’the application services.

Rigor and understanding
The configuration of interrelated services (DNS must run before the Web, the Web before Nextcloud) m’learned how to work in an orderly manner and to diagnose a systematic failures.

Pair work
The collaboration with my buddy was in need of a good coordination, in particular for the management of SSH access shared on two instances of Linux and the consistency of the network configurations.

Skills
In l’together, the LES has been particularly formative : it m’has provided hands-on experience l’network and system administration under Linux, in conditions close to the professional world.
